The Symphony Orchestra in Pau

Cinema-Concert

80 years after the end of the Second World War, the French Republican Guard Orchestra is at the Zénith de Pau for a cinema-concert evoking the period 1914-1945, as experienced by our great-great-grandparents. The show recounts the slide of some young people towards radicalism.

While period films are projected on a large screen and the Orchestra plays original music by Patrice d’Ollone, a narrator and a reciter read letters written a century ago by young French, Germans, Spaniards, Italians and Belgians. A poignant show, where history is told from the perspective of men and women.
